二、教學(xué)重、難點(diǎn)分析

本課時的重難點(diǎn)是讓學(xué)生將第四單元的中心語言與be going to句型融為一體,在具體 情景中能自然運(yùn)用。

三、課前準(zhǔn)備

1.教師準(zhǔn)備中國地圖和各地風(fēng)景圖片(包括Stone Forest和folk dance圖片)。

2.教師準(zhǔn)備一個旅行包。

3. 教師準(zhǔn)備音樂、課文磁帶。

4. 教師準(zhǔn)備單詞卡片。

四、教學(xué)步驟和建議

1.熱身(Warm-up)

(1)播放Unit 4“A Trip to China”歌曲,學(xué)生跟唱。

(2)運(yùn)用課件或地圖呈現(xiàn)祖國各地風(fēng)景,讓學(xué)生初步感知地名。

(3)學(xué)生根據(jù)實(shí)際經(jīng)歷自由問答:Where did you go/visit on your holiday?

I went / visited to …on my holiday.

(請?jiān)L問過同一地名的同學(xué)組合成family,坐到相鄰的位置。)

2. 預(yù)習(xí)(Preview)

Different Response:教師交給同學(xué)一種物品(如:book)并提問:What are you going

to do? 學(xué)生可回答:I’m going to read books.

I’m going to do my homework.

I’m going to study English.

鼓勵學(xué)生發(fā)揮創(chuàng)造力,回答越豐富越好。

3. 新課呈現(xiàn)(Presentation)

(1) 接預(yù)習(xí)活動,教師呈現(xiàn)一個旅行包,提問:What am I going to do?

引導(dǎo)學(xué)生回答:You’re going to take a trip.

教師繼續(xù)提問:Where am I going to visit?

播放音樂“月光下的鳳凰竹”,并配合介紹:It’s usually warm and sunny. It’s known as Spring city.引導(dǎo)學(xué)生猜出:You’re going to visit Kunming.

(2) 出示圖片:Stone Forest和folk dance幫助學(xué)生更好地理解昆明的民族風(fēng)情,同時教

學(xué)Stone Forest和folk dance?山Y(jié)合圖片、音樂、錄像等學(xué)習(xí):folk music/clothes/dance

(3) 簡單介紹課文背景后,出示where , what, when, how四個疑問詞并播放課文錄音,

讓學(xué)生邊聽邊記錄主要信息。

(4) 限時閱讀:給學(xué)生一定的時間限制,讓他們通讀課文,完成Fill in Mike’s trip

schedule。

(5) 學(xué)生仿照“Fill in Mike’s trip schedule”表格進(jìn)行問答練習(xí)。

(6) 教師借助圖片等提供情景:It’s the good season for trip. Where are you going ? What

are you going to do? 請學(xué)生以Group work的形式和“家庭成員”討論,擬定家庭旅

行計劃。

(7) 出示Plan your holiday and make a dialogue表格,挑選幾組在班級交流,完成表格。

4. 鞏固和擴(kuò)展(Consolidation and extension)

(1)一氣呵成。教師將句子拆分,呈現(xiàn)單詞卡:am, going, visit , I, to, Stone Forest,讓首先

說出單詞的學(xué)生持卡并上來組成句子順序:I am going to visit Stone Forest。

(2)完成活動手冊配套練習(xí)。

(3)小組合作自編對話。教師用簡筆畫或圖片呈現(xiàn)以下幾組圖片,讓學(xué)生4人一組自編

對話表演,教師鼓勵學(xué)生自由發(fā)揮。

(4)旅游咨詢?nèi)铡⑷喾殖蓛山M:Group A(旅行社代表)和Group B(旅客),Group A

成員分工合作,選擇若干城市,進(jìn)行設(shè)攤介紹;Group B成員到各自意向前往的城市咨詢,最后評選出最受歡迎的城市和旅行社。

第二課時

一、教學(xué)目標(biāo)與要求

1.通過活動read and answer 綜合運(yùn)用旅行詞匯和句子。

2.了解機(jī)場的設(shè)施及登機(jī)基本順序。

二、教學(xué)重、難點(diǎn)分析

綜合運(yùn)用有關(guān)旅行的句子是本課重點(diǎn);讓學(xué)生學(xué)會捕捉聽力材料里的關(guān)鍵信息是本課的教學(xué)難點(diǎn),教師要注意培養(yǎng)學(xué)生良好的聽力習(xí)慣。

三、課前準(zhǔn)備

1.教師準(zhǔn)備機(jī)票(可以仿制)和候機(jī)大廳圖片。

2.教師準(zhǔn)備中國地圖。

3. 教師準(zhǔn)備機(jī)場錄象。

1. 教師準(zhǔn)備本課時的單詞圖片或卡片。

四、教學(xué)步驟和建議

1.熱身(Warm-up)

(1)教師提供城市的相關(guān)信息,學(xué)生搶答城市名稱。

如:Great Wall ---Beijing

Ocean Park--- Hong Kong

Spring city--- Kunming

East phearl--- Shanghai

根據(jù)學(xué)生的回答,教師將各城市名稱貼到教室的四周。

(2)小組競賽。每組請一位同學(xué)代表,教師說一個城市名稱,學(xué)生就跑向該城市,并說:I’m

going to visit ….比一比誰的反應(yīng)快。

2.預(yù)習(xí)(Preview)

日常口語練習(xí),內(nèi)容可參考前一頁的表格(設(shè)計旅行計劃)。

如:Where are you going on your holiday?

What are you going to do there?

Who are you going with?

When are you going ?

How are you going to get there?

3. 新課呈現(xiàn)(Presentation)

(1) 從上一環(huán)節(jié)學(xué)生的回答中(I’m going to … by plane.),教師自然引出:Why are you

going to … by plane?引導(dǎo)學(xué)生回答…is far from here. 然后教師繼續(xù)引導(dǎo)How far

is … from…? 2 hours? 3 hours? 最后引出句型It’s …h(huán)ours by plane. 教師板書該句

帶讀。

(2) 出示中國地圖,用其他城市替換操練:How far is … from …? It’s … hours by plane.

接著用其他交通工具替換操練How far is … from…? It’s … hours by train / bus / van

/ bike。

(3) 教師出示機(jī)票,介紹:Mike is going to visit Kunming with his family by plane.

Look !They’re the tickets of the plane. What are they going to do first?呈現(xiàn)候機(jī)大

廳的圖片(包括Good to know部分的設(shè)施和標(biāo)志),師生一起介紹認(rèn)讀Airport的

標(biāo)志及乘機(jī)的基本手續(xù)和順序。

(4) 教師出示打亂順序的乘機(jī)手續(xù)詞卡:board, security, check in (have boarding pass),

請學(xué)生排一排順序,演一演。在學(xué)生表演的同時,播放Listen and write的機(jī)場廣

播,讓學(xué)生找到正確的登機(jī)口。其余學(xué)生完成聽音填空練習(xí)。

(5)教師介紹課文情景:Now Mike and Kathy is at the gate 24. What are they talking about?

提供部分單詞:far,three hours, weather, spring city, sunny, different places, buy folk

clothes, suitcase請學(xué)生小組合作,編出一段對話。

(6)播放課文錄音,學(xué)生跟讀。

(7)以分組競賽的形式完成Answer the question的搶答,教師可補(bǔ)充相關(guān)問題。 如:Why is it usually sunny and warm in Kunming?

What are they going to do in Kunming?

4.鞏固和擴(kuò)展(Consolidation and extension)

(1) 配音。在靜音狀態(tài)下,循環(huán)播放登機(jī)錄象,請學(xué)生采用集體討論、自由組合、分工合作

等形式完成配音任務(wù)。

(2)大聯(lián)想。教師提供三個城市圖片(如:Beijing, Kunming, Harbin),并將學(xué)生分成三大

組,各組分別選擇一個城市展開聯(lián)想,然后在規(guī)定時間內(nèi),在圖片下寫出有關(guān)單詞。

(3)完成活動手冊配套練習(xí)。

(4)Tourism Ads show.分組進(jìn)行比賽,小組成員分工合作制作旅游廣告,畫出廣告畫,附

上讓人喜歡的理由。然后在同學(xué)中宣傳,有意前往的同學(xué)可以簽名預(yù)約:I’m going to visit….比比哪組宣傳效果最好。

(5)切面包。讓學(xué)生用小刀將面包狀卡片上單詞間沒有間隙的句子進(jìn)行識別后,根據(jù)單詞

(1) 教師:I have 2 pieces of news for you. One is good, the other one is bad. Which

one do you want to listen first? 在黑板的兩側(cè)分別板書:Bad news 和Good

news。接著介紹:The bad news is I was false in the examination last year. The

good one is I worked hard than before then I passed the examination this year.

(2) 請學(xué)生講幾條bad news,鼓勵全班大膽設(shè)想,把bad news變成good news。

如:S1: It’s rainy today, but I have no umbrella.

S2: I have a umbrella, I can go home with you.

S3: Your dad will give you a lift.

S4: You can enjoy the beautiful city in the rain.

教師鼓勵學(xué)生創(chuàng)造性地表達(dá),并對學(xué)生進(jìn)行適時的辨證主義教育。

(3) 從學(xué)生講述bad news引入Mike lost the suitcase這則故事。播放課文錄音,

學(xué)生靜聽兩遍后,合上書本,完成Read and tick or cross練習(xí)。

(4) 學(xué)生閱讀課文,教師指導(dǎo)。

(5) 請學(xué)生根據(jù)各自閱讀情況,從課文中摘抄一些單詞,每次請一位同學(xué)板書,

其余學(xué)生根據(jù)這些單詞搶答說一些簡單的語句(可以是原文,也可以是學(xué)生

自己的話)。可以通過小組競賽的方式進(jìn)行。

(6) Group work:小組討論完成書本的Good news and bad news game.

(3) 辯論賽。教師提供一個Topic,如:The tourism is good/ bad for our dairy life。將

全班分成兩組,抽簽決定各自的主題,進(jìn)行一定時間的準(zhǔn)備討論,然后以辯論賽

(2)Golden eyes:出示5~6張活動短語(如:went to a nature park, saw flowers, ate fresh fish,

bought folk clothes, stayed at the village),讓學(xué)生看幾秒后拿走,說出看到的短語,說得又多又快的為勝。

2. 預(yù)習(xí)(Preview)

單詞大搜索。將全班分成若干小組,給出幾個topic(如nature park, city, countryside),讓每組選擇一個topic,在規(guī)定時間內(nèi)寫出相關(guān)的詞語。

3. 新課呈現(xiàn)(Presentation)

(1) 教師出示一個動詞卡片(如:take),提問:What did you do on your holiday? 學(xué)生根據(jù)

教師的提示,集體回答:I took pictures on my holiday.最后出示動詞write,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生回答:I wrote the post card.
